Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School is committed to offering students varied opportunities for extracurricular participation. We believe that participation in extracurricular activities enables students to develop talents that may find little expression in the classroom, as well as maintain a balance between the academic rigors of our program with the ability to participate in and enjoy the community of students, parents, and staff around them. As one of the International Baccalaureate Organization's Learner Profile Traits, to be Balanced means to "understand the importance of intellectual, physical, and emotional balance to achieve personal well-being for yourself and others" (IBO, 2013).

Extracurricular activities often require collaboration between students, rendering the process of involvement and teamwork as important as the finished product. Because Cottonwood Classical is a school with a cohesive community, many students have the opportunity to assume a leadership position in an organization or club by the time they graduate.

Club offerings vary from year to year depending on student interest and willingness to pursue their creation and maintenance.  All of the student activities listed below, including clubs and student associations, is active in the current school year. Please contact the club sponsor in any of the links below for more information.
